Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition releases is close to release. With reviews recently going live, Nintendo has released a new trailer that details the massive world that players will explore. Even if you played the Wii U version, it’s still worth seeing all the different environments in their revamped glory.

The story takes place on two giant titans, Bionis and Mechonis, several eons after their massive battle. Bionis is the home to the Homs, namely Shulk and friends, while Mechonis is where the Machina live. Throughout one’s journey, they’ll explore Colony 9, the peaceful region where Shulk grew up, and Gaur Plain which offers a huge expanse of secrets.

As the story progresses, players will find themselves visiting Alcamoth, the capital city of Bionis, and encountering various floating isles. The world is gigantic and full of danger including large enemies that can annihilate less-prepared players. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition releases on May 29th for Nintendo Switch – stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
