Remember when Sega said there were no plans to bring the Yakuza games to Xbox One? At X019, it was announced that Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. They’ll be available in early 2020.

Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2 are essentially remakes of the original PS2 releases, offering stunning revamped visuals, improved combat and better story-telling. Yakuza 0 is a brand new game, showcasing the rise of Kazuma Kiryu and Majima Goro in Kamurocho. All three games are critically acclaimed and currently available for PC and PS4.

Though it’s unclear whether other titles like the remasters of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 – not to mention Yakuza 6: The Song of Life – will be coming to Xbox One, this is still a big deal. Will all three games also be available for Xbox Game Pass on PC? Time will tell so stay tuned for more details as X019 continues to roll on.
