Yakuza 7 More Information Coming Tomorrow, On May 30

Yakuza finally started to gain some notoriety in the west this year thanks to the exceptional Yakuza 0, which released earlier in the year on PS4. However, in Japan, Yakuza came to an end- or at least, Kiryu’s story did, when Yakuza 6 launched there. Yakuza 6 is inevitably going to come to the west, too, though it will take some time.

Meanwhile, Japan is already looking ahead to the next game in the series- which will be getting more details announced tomorrow. A new stream has been announced for May 30- and while we don’t know what to expect, we can definitely look forward to more discussions about the future of the franchise. We know that Yakuza 7 is apparently already in the works, and we also know that the creators of the franchise have expressed an interest in the Switch.
