Yakuza Ishiin (6)

Continuing the trend higher frames per second and sharper resolutions, Sega’s Yakuza Ishin apparently runs at 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 4 according to a Japanese blog post. As for the resolution, it hasn’t been made clear as to what the resolution is on the PS4 version but it will be higher than the PS3 version.

Yakuza Ishin takes a different approach to the entire franchise, being set instead in 19th century Japan and focusing on the popular Tokugawa/Meiji Restoration period where man-slayers and the Shinsengumi reigned supreme. You’ll be brandishing a samurai sword, hacking dudes up and even establishing a life far away with a girl who knows nothing of the horrors you commit (presumably).

Releasing for the PS3 and PS4 along with supporting PS Remote Play, Yakuza Ishin will release February 22nd in Japan alongside the official launch of the PlayStation 4. As of now, a Western release hasn’t been announced.
