Yakuza-Like-a-Dragon-2-2

We’re not too far away from the newest installment in the long running Yakuza franchise, Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The seventh mainline game is a massive reinvention of the series. It remains to be seen how that’s going to go, but we should know pretty soon.

There’s been a lot of Yakuza news floating around lately, such as the series finally making its way to the Xbox. But in relation to the future of Yakuza, it was announced by Sega at the Yebisu Garden Place in Tokyo that Like a Dragon has officially gone gold.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will release January 16th 2020 exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in Japan. Unfortunately, we don’t have a date for the worldwide release just yet, so we’ll have to wait a bit for it to go gold outside Japan. In the meantime, there is also a Japanese demo available, which you read about through here.
