Zone of the Enders HD Collection Opening Cinematic: Robot Rollicking meets J-Pop

Shake, rattle, and barrel roll in endless space battles with Konami's high-definition collection.

Zone of the Enders HD Collection is now available for Playstation 3 and XBox 360, featuring the classic games in the franchise remade with stunning high-definition graphics and reworked animations. Konami has released the brand new opening cinematic for the collection, which gives us both story hints and allusions to conflicts within the game set to a rocking Japanese/English soundtrack.

We get to see Leo Stenbeck, both in his child avatar and grown-up stance, piloting both the Orbital Frame Jehuty and the Vic Viper (a nod to Konami’s own Gradius series). Of course, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner protagonist Dingo Egret has his time to shine as well, as we see him confronting entire fleets of robots, besides going head-to-head with the enigmatic and highly evil ANUBIS.

It’s good fun and a great adaptation of the classic Playstation 2 franchise which should be checked out by games and any one looking for a stellar mecha experience.
