Capcom Apparently Have ‘Three Major Unannounced Games’ That Will Launch Before April 2017

Including a brand new Monster Hunter game.

Capcom

Although Capcom’s output has greatly fallen, in both quality and content, from their heyday in the PS2 era, they still have enough major games and franchises that you look forward to seeing what they may have up their sleeves next. And according to their financial briefing and statements, it sounds as though Capcom will release three major games, all of them unannounced, before April 2017.

The games will include a new Monster Hunter game, as well as two other unannounced titles that we don’t know anything of. At least one of these is expected to sell 4 million units- surprisingly not Monster Hunter, which Capcom expects will sell in the 2 million unit range (probably implying that the game will be out towards the end of this time period).

What could these games be? Capcom still has major franchises that have not transitioned to this current generation- we are missing a new Devil May Cry, a new Resident Evil, and a new Mega Man, as just one example. Which ones will make the jump? Hopefully we find out soon- maybe at E3?
