During an IGN Twitch stream, Double Helix revealed two new characters for the upcoming Xbox One-exclusive Killer Instinct, namely series veterans Spinal and Orchid, who also happens to be Jago’s sister (at least, in the previous games. Oh, and spoilers).

Orchid emphasizes speed and gracefulness in her movements, moving around with quickness but still striking hard. Not much was shown of Spinal, and hopefully Double Helix will reveal some new character videos with both characters to further show off their moves.

So far, Killer Instinct is looking good despite being at 720p resolution (it’s still 60 frames per second though). What are your thoughts on the new characters revealed? Will they be enough to encourage you to buy them when the game releases or will you be sticking to Jago throughout your experience? Let us know in the comments below.

Killer Instinct is scheduled to release in November 2013 for North America. Stay tuned for more concrete launch dates in the coming weeks.
