Kojima Productions is now with Sony Computer Entertainment (if you didn’t know already) and his next big game will be coming to the PlayStation 4. In a recent Q&A released by the company (as per Medium), it was revealed that not only is Sony not investing in the studio but that the game was “planned to become available on PC” following its release on PS4.

It was also revealed that this new game would not be related to either Metal Gear or Silent Hills in some way, which is a given since they’re both owned by Konami. As for Sony’s relationship with Konami in the midst of all this, the former said that the latter “will remain one of SCE’s most important publishers, and our relationship with them will not change.”

Many in the industry have already commented on Kojima Productions re-forming to work with Sony Computer Entertainment. What are your thoughts on the same? Let us know in the comments.

because its sony, its great to have console exclusives…. if this was MS it would be terrible. i hate exclusives, either way your passing up 15-30 (depending when the game comes out) user base.

LOL. At least it is coming to PC. I figure he would want to release there, too, considering his start and what he did for GZ and MGSV. Toss in the years at Konami and how things ended, no way would he jump straight into the arms of another overlord.

Looks like no games on the PS4 for the rest of its life. Poor Rscottycuck. A miserable end to a tragic year for Sonycucks.

Greatness only exists on PC 🙂

I find nothing particularly surprising by Kojima siding with Sony. This has been the case since PS2 days. Kojima & Sony is like Remedy & MSFT. Congrats to Kojima on branching out on his own. Good luck to Sony on continuing support of small indie devs. As long as gamers have access to great games is all that matters. Hopefully its a AAA game like the exclusive one MSFT commissioned from Platinum Games, Scalebound.

  • Gamez Rule

Kojima is now free to do as he pleases, and Sony will be getting a new game franchise for PS4 etc, and if that wasn’t good enough news for everyone Kojima officially confirmed that Metal Gear Solid artist Yoji Shinkawa and producer Ken Imaizumi are also joining him. Even more good news for PS4 & PC gamers☺

    • Truth™

Sony had to pay him more money than Ubi-Soft would while he chose PC because it’s the superior platform

Sonycucks believing their dear PR so much 🙂

    • Gamez Rule

Keep taking ya meds, and go finger ya keybord and make yourself happy once more, and don’t feel to sad, you’ll be getting Kojima game AFTER the PS4☺☺☺

    • Truth™

I’ll enjoy your salty tears when it’s a simultaneous release. But then by Kojima’s scheduling, Sony will be out of business by the time it comes out 🙂

    • Gamez Rule

ROFLMAO! You know 100% PC will not get the PS4 console exclusive at the same time as Sony gamers, so carry on wishfull thinking and enjoy all the salty tastes you’re used to ☺☺☺

do you have a picture of the xbox gimps too?

  • Mr Xrat

Better start pleading to Phil, Xbox gimps. 🙂

    • Truth™

Kojima doesn’t even have to make deals to put games on PC. It’s the superior platform.

What happened to “NEVER EVER” rscottycuck? Are you going to wait till Bloodborne inevitably gets announced for PC considering it sold less than 2 million and sony lied about it. Splatoon sold four million and is a superior game. Guess there’s no point in a POS4 🙂
