Mad Max

Avalanche Software’s Mad Max is nearly upon us and delivers the much awaited open world traversal in the Wasteland, complete with car combat and vicious post-apocalyptic tidings.

It seems the overall file size of the game will live up to that scale as well – a listing on the Xbox Marketplace revealed that Mad Max would require 32.04 GB of free space to install. That’s a pretty good size considering how games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (25.15 GB) and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (25.1 GB) compare.

Mad Mad will be releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC and will tell an original story about Max and his encounter with Scabrous Scrotus, the son of Immortan Joe. After his Interceptor is stolen, Max goes on a journey to build a new Magnum Opus and take revenge on Scrotus while tackling an array of other oddities along the way.

Mad Max releases on September 1st for current gen consoles so stay tuned for more information.
