Mass Effect Andromeda Video Showcases Snippets of Gameplay

Though not quite a full gameplay demonstration, Bioware did reveal some gameplay footage through a behind-the-scenes video of Mass Effect Andromeda.

Mass Effect Andromeda sees you leading an expedition to find a new home for humanity and will boast new planets, new technology and new races (familiar ones like the Asari still appear though). Bioware promises “more freedom” than ever before with a new cast of characters. The protagonist, still unnamed but likely to be the rumoured Ryder, was showcased near the end of the video.

We also get a glimpse at the new planets and enemies that we’ll be exploring. Lo and behold, the Mako also makes a return. Bioware has promised to reveal even more information this Fall.

Mass Effect Andromeda is currently slated to release in early 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the few snippets of gameplay seen through the video? Let us know below.
