The latest Media Create sales for gaming hardware and software in Japan are in and it seems the price cut for the PS4 has done a world of good. Compared to the prior week where the console sold 4,071 units, it managed to sell 46,177 units after the price cut. That’s more than a ten fold increase. This was followed by the New 3DS XL at 18,136 units sold and the PS Vita with 15,237 units sold.

On the software side of things, the PS Vita actually had some success with the debut of Tokyo Xanadu which sold 88,879 units. This was followed by Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 for the PS3 and PS4 which sold 48,473 units and 39,017 units respectively. Yoru no Nai Kuni on the PS4 and Vita also debuted with 35,907 and 32,904 units sold respectively.

The other new release was Picross 3D 2 on the Nintendo 3DS which sold 30,468 units. Many of Nintendo’s other big players, namely Yo-kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team/White Dog Squad, Super Mario Maker, Splatoon and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon continue to see good sales.

Oh that’s odd, you got ps4 sell numbers for Japan but you never have the numbers for US sells.i wonder why are maybe it’s because Sony is lying about their US sells number.what I fine funny about it is how we don’t hear anything about ps3 sells anymore, what did Sony stop selling the PS3??? I’ll give you my take on why they don’t talk about ps3 sells anymore it’s because Sony is combining the PS3 along with the ps4 sells to make it seem like the ps4 is selling so well, they did last Gen with the PS3,they were combining the ps2 sells along with the PS3

Sony are reporting their PS3 sells numbers. This is how we know they have dropped another 2% in sells from August to September. Sony is very proud of their sells and are dropping their stats as often as possible. NPD reports also reflect this.

X1 is the only system we have “unsure” numbers on. They are out right refusing to share the data, likely because they feel it will discourage additional sales. Also note that the data MS did share was units to stores and not sold through to the customers like Sony has done this gen and last gen. MS even shared sold to customer numbers last gen.

I suggest you just take a two minute search so you can easily find all the data you are questioning. Take care.

I read an article about how the PS4 is even selling better the Wii was at the same point last gen. Hard to believe considering the Wii sold as well as it did because it appealed to a completely different group of people. As far as the PS4 is concerned it appeals to the gamer same goes for the XB1. I call shenanigans on Sony they have a history of deceit just look at the fake PSP blog or the fictitious film critic David Manning and also the hidden DRM software in Sony DVD’s the list goes on. They’ll get caught eventually.
