People see Mass Effect 3 “as the single best piece of software” announced for Wii U- EA

Mass Effect 3 was one of the few games announced for the Wii U during Nintendo’s horrible E3 media briefing, and EA thinks that people considered that as the best piece of software announced for the system during the show. Not Mario, not a new Pikmin– no, a game that, while extremely good, has already been released on other systems months back.

“We looked at the Wii U launch line-up yesterday and we’re very pleased there was a lot of applause for ME3,” said Electronic Arts chief executive John Riccitiello at a financial briefing today.

“In fact,” he continued, “I think it got one of the loudest applauses, so we’re pleased that people see it as the single best piece of software that’s been announced for the platform.”

He also announced that EA has “a number of sports games we’re going to have on the platform that we haven’t announced yet.”

Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

Mass Effect 3 is not the best piece of software for the wii u, thats just ea saying it is. Why should anybody has already had this game for 360 or PS3 get it for wii u? No point. There are so many compliants about this game, why would even a die hard fan get it? EA is just doin this to get more money, cause that dlc money they were hoping for, is pretty much gone. Why is that? The problems, this franchise has just endured, glitches, talis face, auto dilounge, rpg elements, weak story, ending, hub plants, exploring, customisation, broken promises, flat out lies from developers, just to name a few. me3 is the let down of the year to alot of ppl, and to say its the best wii u game? Haha yea rite, sorry but that is just not the case. Ea just wants to make up for the lost revenue that they would have made from the dlc, but since bioware screwed up, ea rushed them to fit in the forth quater profit statement for investors, yea thats why its coming for wii u. me3 will be nine months old by the time wii u comes out. Me3 screwed fans, so fans said screw ur dlc. Artisc integary…yea rite. a videogame can be artisc but before it can be art, its a product first. Me3 is a broken product the ppl are upset with, consumers have a rite to complain about what said product said it was gonna do and did not do. Customers have a right to be upset, sometimes customers are wrong, but in this case they are correct. Look at the facts. Me3 is no were near as good as the first two games, ppl didnt complain about them cause they did what they said they were gonna do and did it, the third game did not do what they said it would and so ppl are upset. End of story

Gotta love it! “The game that got us voted worst company of 2012 on the Consumerist = best release title for the Wii U!” – Electronic Arts, paraphrased.

Much like the other consoles, expect to see this bad boy sitting on Used store shelves and not moving shortly after release. If anyone buys it at all.

Nintendo, what were you thinking? Are you trying to suicide the new console before you release it?
