Base of Operations Guide:
The Base of Operations is your central hub in The Division, as the name suggests. This is where you come back after a hard day’s work to buy new weapons, gear, armour, get new missions and just hang around. Progressing throughout the game is dependent on how much you’ve upgraded your BoO, so make sure you keep upgrading all the wings (doing this grants you different Perks and Abilities).
The more you upgrade all the wings (of which there are three- Security, Technology and Medical), the more missions you get, and the more you progress in the story. All the wings, once unlocked, can be upgraded ten times each.
Here’s a quick guide to walk you through the basic mechanics of how your BoO works and what all it consolidates.
Security Wing
Find and recruit NYPD officer Captain Ray Benitez to unlock the Security Wing.
Medical Wing
Find and recruit Dr. Jessica Kandel to unlock the Medical Wing.
Technology Wing
Find and recruit Paul Rhodes to unlock the Technology Wing.
Situation Board
Make sure to often check the Situation Board in your Base of Operations. This is where you get the bulk of the Side Missions, so make sure to keep an eye on it (also talk to the JTF officer regularly).
Vendors
You can purchase goodies from vendors in your BoO. From the get go, you have the following vendors at your disposal: weapon, gear, mods and Rewards Claim (where you claim rewards from special events).
As you upgrade your BoO, other vendors (who sell better, rarer goods) become available: Black Market Vendor, Clothes Vendor, Advanced Weapons Vendor.
Stash
The stash is a box on the wall just opposite the entrance of the lobby. This is where you store all your items, including the ones you’ve extracted from the Dark Zone.

Weapons
Given below is a brief guide on everything related to weapons in The Division.
Rarity
Rarity of weapons in The Division is categorized by colour coding. There are five categories of rarity- white, green, blue, purple, and orange- with white being the most common and orange being the rarest, legendary weapons. The higher a weapon is in the colour chart, the better chances there are of it having better base stats or more weapon talents.
Weapon Types
Weapon types obviously make a difference in The Division. There are several things to take into consideration while deciding what type of weapons to keep in your arsenal- base stats, mod slots, bonuses and something as simple as your playing style.
There are six types of weapons in the game:

Weapon Talents
Weapon talents determine the way a weapon behaves in the game. Each weapon has three talent slots, and talents- except for in orange weapons- are allotted randomly.

PHOENIX CREDITS
Phoenix Credits are an in-game currency that can be used to purchase that best of weapons, gear and blueprints. These credits can only be obtained and used once a player hits Level 30.
Here are a few tips to help you earn some quick Phoenix Credits. Keep in mind, though, that agents can only carry a maximum of 1000 of these.
Kill Named Enemies
Killing Named Enemies after reaching max level gives you 1-4 Phoenix Credits per kill.
Complete Missions on Challenging Difficulty
Once you hit level 30, go back and replay as many missions on Challenging difficulty as you can. Completing a main mission on challenging difficulty gives player a one-time reward of 30 PCs.
Complete Daily Challenges
Complete as many daily challenges as you can. Completing them nets you a one-time award of 20 PCs.

Those Signature Moves- Activate any of the Signature Skills 100 times
Natural Talent- Be attributed with a kill while having a Talent active
One Down, Two to Go- Completely upgrade any one wing of the Base of Operations
Fixer-Upper- Completely upgrade any two wings of the Base of Operations
Bling! Bling!-Equip all Gear slots with Superior or High-end Items
Good With My Hands- Craft 10 items
Master Craftsman- Craft a high-end item
Deconstructive Criticism- Deconstruct 100 items
Looking for Group- Join or create a group
Medic- Revive a teammate 20 times in co-op
Lean on Me- Heal or Buff allies 100 times while in a group
Networking- Complete 20 Missions as part of a group
Shut That Door- Close a car door while in cover
Raid the Arsenal- Kill 1 enemy with each of the 6 Gun classes
Worth the Wait- Successfully Extract a contaminated item from the Dark Zone
Mass Extraction- Extract an item at all 8 Extraction Zones
Plundered- Extract a Superior or High-end Item from the Dark Zone
Headhunter- Kill a named Elite in the Dark Zone
You Just Made The List- Kill 10 Named Enemies in the Dark Zone
For Justice- Kill a player who has Gone Rogue
I am the Law- Kill 20 Rogue Agents
