Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

CD Projekt RED has shared some new information on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with community and website coordinator Marcin Momot stating on the forums that there will be new footage next week. “The PS4 footage will be released next week.”

Momot further stated that, “The game looks great on PS4. Real talk – I’m speaking from my personal perspective. Our team did an excellent job with console versions. It wil be a few minutes of gameplay footage from the prologue.”

Momot did share one change that hadn’t been noticed till now. “Alright guys. Just played the game and checked since, to be honest, I don’t pay attention to this when I play. The blood doesn’t splatter on the ground anymore. It splatters on Geralt and comes out of dead enemies when they end up on the ground. Hope this clears it up.”

Level designer Miles Tost shared some more details on Twitter. The lake with Fyke Land, for instance, “It’s a huge lake with an island in the middle that has it’s very own twisted story to tell.”

Tost also said that with regards to difficulty, “Depends on what experience you want! Fortunately, you can switch difficulty mid game. So test it!”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out on May 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

      If you’re on XB1 you may have to get used to 900p gameplay and maybe a bit of screen tear.

      The tears are already being shed now Ultra 60FPS footage has been shown and PS4 isn’t even high settings.

      Actually PS4 is = to PC high settings. Regardless every platform will leave a lot to be desired, PC included.

      Hardware in 10+ years from now will be decent, hopefully. Now, they all suck.

      That’s what PR says. Turned out it was medium with high textures like everything this generation like GTA V

      If this game was PC exclusive, none of this would be a problem and CDPR wouldn’t have to debase themselves. Its saddening.

      PS Poor people just can’t deal with the reality that just a little over a year after release of their poor man’s brick device the PC has surpassed it more than fivefold in power.

    • Demetrius Radford

      how do uk it will tear wheres the gameplay?

    • You Are Flat Out Wrong

      PS4 = 20FPS = No AF = Tearing
      PC = 60FPS = AFx16 = Ultra settings

      I await your tears as usual as your tablet APU splutters and coughs :^)
