Watch Dogs Will be “One of the Best Selling Titles Throughout 2014”

Ubisoft is betting big on Watch Dogs, it’s upcoming open world hacking adventure, and according to Wayne Greenwell in conversation with MCV, it’ll be not just one of the best selling new IPs in recent memory but also one of the best selling titles of the year.

“Our pre-orders are hugely promising for a new IP and highlights the enthusiasm that has surrounded the product since it was first unveiled to the world.

“With Watch Dogs, Ubisoft is building a new blockbuster brand to stand alongside other top tier triple-A titles and we expect it to be not only one of the best selling new IPs in recent memory, but also one of the best selling titles throughout 2014.”

Watch Dogs will be releasing on May 27th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. The Wii U version is expected later with rumours indicating that it will be out this Autumn.
