Would it “LOL!” or “LOL?” in this case?

The Xbox One release date mystery has been one full of twists and turns. Despite what would have seemed logical given how Sony revealed its launch date for the PlayStation 4 on the same day, Microsoft didn’t announce the Xbox One’s launch date at Gamescom 2013. Since then, there have been rumours that the console will be out on November 8th, with Amazon even placing November 27th as a placeholder date.

Well, prepare copious amounts of salt to take this news with, but apparently an unnamed source (connected to a “large online organisation”) told NextVG that the Xbox One will be releasing on November 22nd now. Is this just a North American release date or a worldwide launch date? Why is it a week after Sony’s PS4 launch in the US and a week before the same console’s launch in Europe?

Beats us, though the release for the Xbox 360 was on November 22nd many many moons ago. Perhaps it’s expected that the Xbox One will follow suit? Ridiculous as it all sounds, Microsoft will need to announce a release date soon and fast.

Definitely November 22. I’m pretty sure they wanna take advantage of Black Friday…so they’ll go for that…whenever they announce the date officially that is.

They need to get it out earlier than that so they can restock retailers in time for black friday while also filling all their pre orders. Sony hit the nail on the head with November 15 gives them 2 weeks to reup their stock for black friday. Microsoft needs to push for at least 2 weeks earlier than black friday. Once they get the day one pre orders filled that were guaranteed day one they can start preparing for black friday. Trying to do it all at once could prove to be a disaster unless they are very well prepared and the yields are going ok.

They need to hurry up though cause I need to put my vacation time in before the countless other xbox pre order…ers get theirs in. Luckily I’m usually giving them their news but its also near the holiday so the longer the wait the less chance I habe of getting off work to play.
