9. PlayStation 2
Nothing like digging out some of your childhood from the back of your closet right? Plenty of us were teenagers, or even younger when the PS2 was released. This console was something truly impressive for it's time as well. Plenty of games still hold up today on it too, Instant classic titles like Shadow of the Colossus, Persona 4 and many more. You'd be missing out if you skipped the PS2. These consoles were hardy too, the launch PS2 I picked up nearly 13 years ago still works to this day, which is a pretty impressive feat. Plenty of folks are also willing to part with this aging beauty for an acceptable price. Shops like Gamestop and Gamer Craze have a slew of used titles they are just itching to get rid of as well, so you're not going to break the bank picking up a few classics. It is hard to go wrong with the PS2, especially if you're on a budget.
