Very little concrete information is out on next gen motion controls, but we've had patents describing Kinect 2.0 as capable of recognising more players in increasingly smaller spaces, as well as being able to detect finger positioning. Sony have similar rumours surrounding the next gen Playstation Eye, supposedly featuring a dual camera setup with Kinect-like body sensing properties. It's likely Sony and MS will continue developing their motion controllers, though whether all these rumours prove true is uncertain.
