DESTINY 2 – STREAMLINED ENDGAME

When Destiny 1 launched, a severe lack of content was one of its biggest issues. Bungie addressed that issue with plenty of post-launch support, but it wasn’t at least until over a year into the game’s life that it started to find its groove. For a good while, the endgame in particular was criticized for how grindy it was, how much of a time investment it demanded from players, and Bungie worked to fix those problems with Destiny 2‘s ending. Unfortunately, at launch, that went hand-in-hand with more problems. In overcompensating for the demanding and grindy nature of Destiny 1’s launch, Destiny 2’s endgame at launch ended up feeling a bit too light and lackluster.
