Xbox 360 Car
“But this is used for gaming,” I hear you cry. Whilst this is partially true, we all know that games console themed cars are for one purpose, and one purpose only: Showing off. If you tally up raw time, you’ll find that the user of such an automobile will spend far more time driving around with a really smug look on their face than they ever will pwning up some games on the go.
NES Wireless Router

I’ve heard plugging one of these into a NES creates a technological black hole that swallows any awesome in the immediate vicinity. You have been warned.
Ever wanted your wireless router to be housed in a NES cartridge? Me neither, but it looks pretty cool none the less. If you want to attempt this kind of work yourself, you can find detailed (and admittedly complicated looking) instructions at: http://www.instructables.com/id/NES-Cartridge-Wireless-Router/ For the rest of us though, I’m sure a picture will suffice.
NES Lunch Box

If only I could go back in time and give someting like this to my eight year old self. He’d be both overjoyed and, no doubt, constantly bullied at the same time.
While not as functional as some of the other mods on this list (holy crap, a PS3 that fries my steaks!) the NES Lunch Box is a pretty cool way to pack away your midday meals. Combining two of my fondest childhood memories, (Nintendo and food) this is the closest we can ever conceivably get to a nostalgia mod for life.
