N64 Controller Bong

Interesting tobacco pipe you have there miss…

As a morally upstanding citizen, I’m totally unaware of what these implements are used for (cough). That said, I’ve heard that certain substances are better appreciated through the “bong” as it is known. I’m also aware that N64 controllers are really awesome. Yes, you read that right, so stop hating on the spaceship design. Logically speaking then, those that love certain substances and those that love N64 controllers will be well served by this particular mod. I’m not sure how many people fall into these two brackets simultaneously, but at least this mod caters for this niche audience.

Nintendo Desk Organisers

As cool as the design is, buying one of these means you’re effectively funding evil. Like blood diamonds, but on a smaller scale.

Nintendo consoles are usually pretty awesome, the Wii notwithstanding. Just the mere sight of an N64 is often enough to fill me with a childish glee, but seeing one modded into a pen holder is… depressing at best. This particular Etsy user couldn’t care less apparently, but I sure as hell hope they used broken consoles for this, as the idea of a working SNES being degraded into this sort of humdrum ornament is just too hard to bare.

Atari Cartridge Wallet

Ever wanted a really uncomfortable but sort of awesome way to hold your money and cards? Enter Nilesz who, for the small sum of $55, will take any Atari 2600 cartridge and turn it into a fashionable wallet. It doesn’t look hugely practical, but I still sort of want one, price and all. Two questions are left though. What do you do with your change, and does this mean that ET cartridges will start being dug out of that landfill in Mexico?

Nintendo Purse

I hope Giorgio Armani reads this, as the world of fashion is due a reboot right about now.

Take that, Atari cartridge wallet! Not only does the Nintendo purse have a far superior capacity than an Atari cartridge, but it also actually works as a fully functional NES. Okay, so it probably costs a hell of a lot more and could only really be used by the average guy in secret (or as a bold fashion statement), but it’s still a rather endearing feat of engineering. It even comes with a controller!
