XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has a bit too much going on. That’s probably a criticism you’ve heard about the game more than once, but it bears mentioning nonetheless. It’s not just that there’s too much going on in the game- the bigger issue is that it does a very poor job of explaining most of it, which means it’s entirely feasible for you to actually finish an entire playthrough of this massive 80-hour game and not have understood some of its mechanics, or perhaps even engaged with them. Going back for a New Game Plus run with a deeper understanding of the game does wonders for fully understanding all of its systems- though of course, investing several dozen more hours into an already massively long game might not be to everyone’s tastes.
