Bad news; it has been confirmed that, in Japan at least, a mandatory subscription fee will be required to play Dragon Quest X past its opening hours. The good news however is that we finally have some footage of the MMO to look at! The footage is offscreen and taken from a livestream of Square’s announcement presentation for the game in Japan. It’s Japanese but, for those who are a bit rusty with their languages, you should still be able to gleam something from it if you are familiar with Dragon Quest or MMOs.
