The Elder Scrolls Online

Plenty of people seem to be excited over this one, though warily so. Upon its announcement there was a mixture of dread and joy. There is still quite some time to go in development for this game, but from what we’ve seen thus far it’s shaping up pretty nicely. TESO does seem to be pulling more creative inspiration from the Elder Scrolls series than just the name. With a combat and casting system similar to what we saw in Skyrim.

From the preview videos we’ve seen, it also looks like we’re going to have some of our favorite classic mini-games like lock-picking and crafting, hopefully this means blacksmithing, and enchanting too. While we’ve still got plenty of time left to wait for this one, the game is currently going in and out of closed beta testing, so if you’ve signed up, you could be lucky enough to get a bit of an early beta preview of this title. If you’re not ,you can expect to see this game coming to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2014.
