MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA
The most talked about and infamous of Mass Effect: Andromeda’s numerous issues have to be the laughably bad facial animations and the large number of terribly made character models. But you know what? Most of the trailers we saw in the build up to the game’s launch gave little to no indication of such a problem. Character and facial models looked generally solid, while facial animations, at least based on what little we could have seen of them in the heavily edited trailers, looked to be at an acceptable level. We all know now that that couldn’t have been further from the truth, and even though it would be unfair to say that BioWare maliciously or intentionally misled us into thinking Andromeda would be of a higher quality than it turned out to be, the ultimate gulf was still a major disappointment.
