BUGS

cyberpunk 2077

This is something that’s been brought up in nearly every review out there right now. Of course, it’s unfair to expect an open world game of this kind of a size and scope to release without any significant bugs or technical issues (though recent releases like Red Dead 2 and Breath of the Wild have shown that that’s definitely possible), but it seems Cyberpunk 2077 is particularly buggy. From minor animation glitches to audio bugs to freezes to crashes, all kinds of technical issues have been brought up across multiple reviews. It’s worth mentioning that these reviews are all based on a build of the game before the day one patch’s launch- but it’s also worth mentioning that all of the reviews are based on the game’s PC version. Cyberpunk 2077 on the base PS4 and Xbox One has yet to be tested by anyone, and it’s entirely possible that the game will be coming in hot on the base 8th gen consoles. Fingers crossed that the day one patch will fix the most major issues at the very least.
