MICROSOFT
There was a man named David Stebbins, who must have felt he was really clever when he sued Microsoft for a $500 billion payout (yes, billion, not million). And how (or why) did he do that? Not because of Microsoft doing anything wrong, or breaking any laws- no, Stebbins sent a notice to Microsoft, telling them that he’s “unilaterally” changed the Xbox live terms of services (because he felt the nitty gritties of the basic nature of a contract between a consumer and a service provider allowed him to do so), which, after a couple other steps, led to him claiming $500 billion damages from Microsoft. For that same case, he also refused to submit any physical documents, because he didn’t want to “put undue strain” on his printer.
To no one’s surprise, nothing came out of this case.
