Metal Gear Solid 3’s Death Pill

Ever since the first Metal Gear Solid popularized hiding around in cardboard boxes, Kojima has continually introduced more outrageous means of espionage in later entries. Case in point, the death pill featured in Metal Gear Solid 3 – which allows Snake to temporarily enter a state of death so as to avoid being detected by the enemy in plain sight. A revival pill is implanted in the tooth before consumption so that the effects are counteracted after a few minutes. While we’re no science experts here at GamingBolt, we are pretty sure that no drug will be able to instantly counteract a lethal dosage of Potassium Cyanide so well that the patient is back on his own two feet and be capable of active ground duty in a matter of minutes.
