Enemies Ignoring Companions

the last of us

Naughty Dog’s games might just be the worst offenders in this regard. You might be slowly inching your way to the end of a room in The Last of Us – carefully considering your every move in hopes of not alerting any Clickers and Shamblers to your human presence. You swipe the camera using the analog stick and find your companions running in clear view of the enemies and they fail to notice them at all. While this behavior can be chalked up to gameplay reasons, there’s no denying that it is incredibly unrealistic.
