GIL CAVE (FINAL FANTASY 5)
Final Fantasy 5’s Gil Cave is a great way to teach players that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. A hidden path in the cave starts out as what seems like a dream come true, with you being handed free gil literally just for walking forward- and those rewards grow as you move further and further. Walk too far in though, and you’ll have to pay for your greed by having to fight against the Gil Turtle, an extremely deadly boss.
