Cyberpunk 2077 – PS4/Xbox One

CD Projekt RED’s latest Cyberpunk 2077 has been subject to a lot of criticism, and a lot of that can be chalked up to the developer’s decision to make the game a cross platform release. The dense environments of Night City proved too much to handle for the aging PS4 and Xbox One, and the final results were pretty disappointing to say the very least. Further making matters worse is the litany of graphical glitches and crashes that players on those platforms had to suffer, and that too after waiting for a really long time. As it turns out, the developers at CDPR built the game for the PC platform and then tried to get it to run on eighth-gen consoles – which obviously didn’t end well. Sure, post-launch updates have made the game much better than before but it still leaves a lot to be desired.
