29. Far Cry 2

Far Cry 2 took the original’s approach and injected it with a good amount of grit and seriousness. Roaming through flea and animal infested jungles of Africa was never this much fun as you explored deserts, jungles, and savannas. Sure there was the occasional annoying time you would faint every 45 minutes you didn’t get your malaria medicine (and guns jamming) but for what it did, the game was a great sequel.
