Resident Evil Village – Ethan Is Likely Alive
While it’s still an unconfirmed theory, Resident Evil: Village‘s ending cutscene suggests that protagonist Ethan Winters is still alive. After his now grown-up daughter Rose Winters goes to his tomb on his birthday, she is presumably called by B.S.A.A. for an operation. As she zooms past the road in a car, we can see what looks to be a recognizable figure in the distance. Fans have discovered that to be Ethan’s character model through the use of camera mods, which suggests that he is indeed alive. Given the fact that his body is made of mold which enabled him to survive the insurmountable odds through the course of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil: Village, the fan theory might not be as far-fetched as it might initially sound.
