ADA’S CLONE – Resident Evil 6
Yep. Exploding highways, a man turning into dinosaurs, clones- Resident Evil 6 really had it all. Now, the concept of a clone is by no means inherently bad, but the way it was contextualized in this game was just flat-out dumb. Simmons cloned Ada Wong because… why? Because he was obsessed with her? Okay, but… why clone her? It was just so ridiculous far-flung and so out of touch with what the series’ story’s strengths had always been- which was perfectly in keeping with the game as a whole, sadly enough.
