Resident Evil – Code: Veronica did some pretty weird stuff. Some of it worked, some of it didn’t- Steve Burnside most definitely didn’t. Headstrong, impulsive, constantly whining about something or the other, Steve tried to put up a tough act, but he just came across as annoying almost all the time. His relationship with Claire was also not developed well at all, and the bond they developed over the course of the game was hard to buy into, mostly because of how unlikeable Steve was in general. His grating voice acting did him no favours either.
