“NOT MY PROBLEM”
The PSP may have been an extremely successful and beloved handheld system (especially in retrospect, when compared to the abject failure of the PS Vita), but really, it was always lagging way, way behind the Nintendo DS- to the extent that it was constantly being outsold 2:1, if not more. In 2005, when asked about the PSP’s relatively lower sales, then Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime had a direct and brutal response, saying, “You know what? That’s Sony’s issue. Not my problem.” Classic Reggie.
