PS4 to PS5 upgrades have been a bit of a pain, especially in the early weeks and months of the PS5’s life, where upgrading a game from one version to the other was too much of a hassle. It felt especially archaic in comparison to the Xbox Series X/S’ Smart Delivery system, which, true to its name, does all the work for you behind the scenes- all you have to do is just start the game. At a time when Sony was receiving criticisms left and right for their complicated upgrade methods, Microsoft decided to have a little bit of fun of its own, sharing a brief and hilarious tutorial on Twitter for how to upgrade games on Xbox Series X/S- “just buy the game.”
