Nolan North – Destiny
Speaking of bizarre voice actor changes, Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones fame was cast as Destiny’s Ghost. When the game actually released, Dinklage was mocked for his intonation and general lack of enthusiasm (something which seemed to result from the game’s rushed development more than anything). He was eventually replaced by Nolan North for The Taken King with all of his lines re-recorded. The reception was…decent but as time went by, more people seemed to prefer the serious Dinklage to the overtly jokey North especially with the latter’s performance in Destiny 2.
