Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Of the three action RPG style Assassin’s Creed titles, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla stands out as the best. On top of its visuals, portraying Norway and Anglo-Saxon England in stunning detail, Valhalla revamped its combat to feel more dynamic. The incessant grinding and side quests of Odyssey were streamlined with World Events and such appearing more naturally as one journeyed around. It’s still a big game, one with a fair number of flaws, but Assassin’s Creed Valhalla closes out the generation by surpassing its predecessors.
