Gravemind – Halo 2: Anniversary
Gravemind was designed to look overwhelming and creepy but still response intelligently. Its encounter with Master Chief and the Arbiter in the original version of Halo 2 makes it seem more like an extraordinary life form than some simple monster. Of course, Halo 2 Anniversary decided to up the nightmare quotient, making Gravemind’s overall shape much more discernible but also more oozing. And just wait till it opens its mouth.
