Core Decay
Slipgate Ironworks may be known better for Ghostrunner but Core Decay promises a more “philosophical adventure” in the vein of System Shock and Deus Ex when it releases for PC. Set in 2089, the story sees the Earth on the verge of collapse as a strange group looks to save it through twisted means. Players investigate said group across various locations and can employ methods like hacking and stealth. Though combat isn’t always recommended, there’s still a wide range of weapons to use from shotguns and rifles to explosives. Over 100 cybernetic implants are also available, further encouraging one to play how they desire.
