Id Software had some…interesting ideas with Doom 3. The AI, at least at launch, wasn’t all that revolutionary though. If you came across any enemy that relied on projectile attacks – like Wraiths or zombies – they could be easily beaten by jumping on a table. Yes, you heard that right. Jump on a table that they can’t reach and they’ll just kind of run around it, wondering what to do as you shoot them.
