HALO: REACH- THE FINAL ACT

Halo: Reach is one of the best single player campaigns you will ever see in a first person shooter, and the fact that the game didn’t even feature Master Chief makes that already incredible feat even more incredible. And during its final act, the game really, really kicks into gear. It’s not the narrative or the unfolding of the events that’s shocking here- anyone who has played Halo before already knows how the story of Reach is going to an. But seeing how wonderfully Bungie handled the somber, desolate and melancholy climax of the game, depicting the fall of Reach and the death of every single major character in the entire game, is an absolute delight- in the most depressing way possible. The final moments and the last stand of Noble Six as he is overwhelmed by the Covenant will be with us for a long time.
