Lambent Brumak – Gears of War 2
Gears of War is a series about bravado, big guns, and lots of blood, and the final boss of Gears of War 2 attempts to capitalize on that. The only problem is that it plays out like a slightly interactable cut scene. Marcus Fenix and crew are riding in a helicopter, flying through the underground tunnels of the Locust while being chased by a massive Lambent Brumak. As the titanic reptile chases after you, you must shoot down the stone pillars keeping the roof of the cavern intact. It all eventually culminates in the destruction of a city and a copious amount of explosions, which is incredibly appropriate for this particular series.
