Rambo: The Game:

So, when this game was first announced and some video and screen captures were let out about it, the game met with a little bit more than some resistance and ridicule. Most of this had to do with the way the game “Look,” since it’s not exactly the most graphically impressive thing out there. Most gamers seem to have conveniently forgot that this game is actually being released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 which is now officially, last gen technology.

The truth is, Rambo hitting the video game medium is a better idea than a new film. Sly Stallone certainly isn’t getting any younger and for the 80’s style body-count that is most likely going to add up in a game like this, it’s really a perfect fit. Sure, it doesn’t look like cutting-edge graphics, but who cares? Are you really going to be taking notice as you’re laying waste to a group of enemies or turning your enemies into bite-sized, formless and bloody red blobs? No, probably not. You’re going to be having too much playing as John Rambo. If you’re into the 80’s style action movie theme, or are a fan of the Rambo movies, you should be looking for this puppy around mid-January, 2014.
