Sixaxis and the PlayStation 3
Strange as it may be to believe, the PlayStation 3 wasn’t originally planned to have the Sixaxis controller. In fact, the feature was added in just before Sony’s E3 2006 presentation. It also didn’t help that the demo for Warhawk, which showcased the motion controller, had to be created on short notice. Did we mention the Sixaxis did terribly in both retail and in game implementation? It didn’t take long for the feature to ultimately die out.
