Flying Wild Hog has a flair for style, but everything else seems to come up short. This could be seen in Shadow Warrior 3, and even more in Trek to Yomi. A tribute to Akira Kurosawa’s films with stunning monochromatic visuals and presentation, it was ultimately let down by its terrible combat and lack of soul. Though sales numbers are unknown, it received mixed reactions from critics and a “Mixed” rating on Steam from 984 user reviews.
