Enemies with Recharging Health Bars
A recharging health bar can be found in most modern first-person shooters, and it was originally built as a tool to provide a sense of flow to gameplay proceedings. However, when this system is employed by certain enemies – we achieve the exact opposite results. Encounters seem to last forever and pacing gets thrown out the window as both the enemy and player continually hide from each other in an effort to regain precious health points back and repeat the same thing over and over again. High-level enemies in Destiny and other live-service games might be the worst offenders here.
