While most attacking moves that we’ve mentioned in this feature are ones that are actively offensive, Vault Stun in Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War isn’t the kind of move that actively deals damage. Instead, it suns every enemy Talion vaults over- once you’ve acquired the move, of course. And it can be stupidly useful. Being surrounded by massive hordes of enemies is very common in both games, and using (or overusing) the Vault Stun as a crowd control move is often the best course of action. It’s not deadly by any means, but if you’re ever heavily outnumbered, spamming Vault Stun can often turn the tide, and very quickly at that.
